2008 Mizuno Scramble Golf Classic Launched

Hosted by the Eastridge Golf Club last July, 2008, The Mizuno Scramble Golf Classic kicked off with a mini tournament that involved the members of the General Managers League of the Philippines (GMAP) to mark the launch of one of the most awaited golf tournaments in the country.
The Mizuno Scramble Golf Classic is a scramble format tournament to be held at fifteen prestige clubs, one of which will be in Cebu. Participants will be competing for prizes at every leg of the tournament, including the grand prize of an all-expense paid trip to Japan.
According to Master Sports - Mizuno President Lovell Gopez, “The scramble remains one of the most popular formats in golf and we would like to keep the excitement on the courses with the continuation of the Mizuno Classic.” Details and schedules of the tournament legs are yet to be confirmed, but it will be released as soon as it is finalized.
